ABOUT HENZO KENYA

Henzo brings together patients of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and Gastro-intestinal stromal tumors (GIST).  We also bring together, their relatives, caregivers, well-wishers, clinicians, policy experts and volunteers. Henzo is a Swahili word meaning Love, and there is plenty of that within the group.

OUR ADVOCACY

A diagnosis of Cancer can bring out strong fears and anxieties in many people. Access to medicines and family support can go a long way to ease these fears. There is a feeling of isolation that sets in, which can have a big impact on Patients' emotional well being. No one knows what someone is going through unless they are going through it themselves. A patient support group addresses these needs.
